Swiss born chef Peter, has worked over 50 years in a long list of fine restaurants. Kansas City Club and Bretton’s in Kansas city, Bistro in Beverly Hills, Tony’s Fishmarket in Redondo Beach, and the Chanteclair in Irvine California. From 1978 -1982 he directed a resort hotel on the island of Moorea, Tahiti in the South Pacific.

Recently retiring from Eleven-O-Nine restaurant in Anderson, South Carolina 1982-2006. Achievements:

Peter Ryter, former Anderson restaurant owner, dies at age 69

Mr. Ryter died Thursday of a heart attack at the age of 69. He was playing a game at Brookstone Meadows in Anderson when he collapsed around 10:30 a.m., Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said.
